Producer Firoz Nadiadwala Teases Hera Pheri - Welcome Crossover In The Future

Mumbai, June 24 - Producer Firoz Nadiadwala has confirmed that Hera Pheri 3 is in the development with the Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, and Paresh Rawal, and the announcement for the same will be made soon. The producer in the same interview also teased a blockbuster crossover between Hera Pheri and Welcome.

According to reports, producer Firoz Nadiadwala had attempted to make a crossover film almost a decade ago, with his two iconic films - Hera Pheri and Welcome. Producer Nadiadwala in an interview with Bollywood Hungama has confirmed the same without going into details.



"Yes, and I don't want to go into details. However, for a crossover, the characters have to be like that. They should be lovable and only then does it work. Fortunately, we have had lovable characters in our films like Uday, Majnu, Baburao, Raju, Shyam", he said.

When asked if the Welcome-Hera Pheri crossover film be made in the future, Nidadwala said, "Yes, and that too in a big way. The goings-on in the narrative will be justified, with common sense and logic in place. But as I said before, you can attempt crossover only when you have the characters. If the characters are not worth it, then bringing them together and later tom-tomming about it doesn't make sense", he added.
