Mumbai, August 3, 2021: The success of the recently released Malayalam political thriller film, Nayattu, is leading to multiple remakes. Nayattu received a lot of appreciation and accolades from viewers who praised the story, direction, and the cast's performances.
The movie is now getting remakes in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil languages. Martin Prakkat, director of the original, has confirmed that the Hindi remake rights have been picked up by actor John Abraham, to be remade under his film company, JA Entertainment.
The Telugu remake rights have reportedly been picked up by star Allu Arjun. His home production Geetha Arts acquired the remake rights. The production house is already in talks with a couple of directors for the film's remake in Telugu, for which, the official announcement will be made soon.
The producers of the Tamil remake are yet to be known but Gautham Vasudev Menon has been confirmed to direct this super hit film. Full details of the project are currently being kept under wraps.
'Nayattu' was released on April 8, 2021. It stars Kunchacko Boban, Joju George, and Nimisha Sajayan in the lead roles. The film is directed by Martin Prakkat and written by Shahi Kabir. Ranjith, P. M. Sasidharan, and Martin Prakkat co-produced the film under Gold Coin Motion Picture Company and Martin Prakkat Films.
