A movie that has been touted as an outright mass entertainer, Mumbai Saga is finally released in theaters on March 19. Amid the OTT rumors, the John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi starrer is one of the first major Hindi movies releasing in cinemas post the reopening of theaters.

Mumbai Saga is a gangster action thriller film that shows how violence ruled Bombay (now Mumbai) in the 80s and 90s. The movie revolves around Amartya Rao (John Abraham) - a gangster who aspires to rule old Mumbai. Emraan plays Inspector Vijay Savarkar who has sworn to shoot Amarta Rao on the head and win Rs 10 crore prize money.



Directed by Sanjay Gupta, known for making high-octane action films, Mumbai Saga is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anuradha Gupta, and Sangeeta Ahir under the banners of T-Series, and White Feather Films. The movie also stars Suniel Shetty, Kajal Aggarwal, Rohit Roy, Anjana Sukhani, Mahesh Manjrekar, Prateik Babbar, Samir Soni, Amole Gupte, and Gulshan Grover in key roles.
