Kangana Ranaut Reveals Her Character Name From Upcoming Movie Tejas, Movie To Go On Floors In March

Among the upcoming big-budgeted movies, Kangana Ranaut starrer Tejas is one of them making enough noise to keep the fans on the edge. The film showcases the story of a woman pilot in the Indian Air Force being played by Kangana.

The movie was announced many moons back but couldn't go on floors due to the covid-19 pandemic. However, things are finally started falling in one place and Tejas is all set to take off next month. While fans are waiting to know more about the film, the actress has revealed her character name from Tejas.



Taking to Twitter, Kangana shared the picture of an Army uniform which she will wear in the movie with "Tejas Gill" written on it which is her name in the film. However, according to her, she never knew about her character name until she read the full name on her uniform today.

"Playing a Sikh soldier in Tejas, I never knew until I read my character full name on my uniform today, had an instant smile on my face, our longings and love has a way of manifesting, the universe speaks to us in more ways than we understand", she wrote on Twitter on Saturday.

Earlier in the day, Kangana also announced that her ambitious project will officially take off this March which also happens to be her birthday month (March 23). Talking about the film Tejas, it is written and directed by Sarvesh Mewara and produced by Ronnie Screwvala under his production banner RSVP Movies. The film also stars R. Bhakti Klein as Norwegian Ambassador.



Apart from Tejas, Kangana will also be starring in the much-talked-about movie "Thalaivi" which happens to be the biopic of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister late J Jayalalithaa. The actress will be seen playing the titular role in the movie that is directed by AL Vijay. Thalaivi will be hitting the theatres on April 23 this year and will be releasing in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.

Other than Thalaivi, the Queen actress also looking forward to the release of her spy thriller "Dhaakad" in which she is portraying the character of Agent Agni. The Razneesh Ghai directorial will be releasing on 1st October 2021 on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
