Kangana Ranaut Breaks Down While Talking About Director A.L. Vijay At Thalaivi Trailer Launch

Actress Kangana Ranaut launched the trailer of her forthcoming biopic, Thalaivi on Tuesday (March 23) in Chennai. The four-time National Award-winning actress showed her versatility in the trailer of Jayalalitha's biopic and getting a lot of praise for portraying former actress and politician Jayalalitha in the film.
Apart from showing her great respect for Jayalalitha, Kangana Ranaut has often seen talking nice things about Thalaivi director A.L. Vijay. During the trailer launch event, the actress broke down while talking about Vijay and said how the director never made her feel apologetic about her talent and thanked him for believing in her talent.
"I want to say that he is one person who has made me feel good about my talent. Especially the kind of camaraderie they show with the male hero, they never show with an actress. But I learned from him, how to treat actors and how to show creative partnership", she said at the trailer launch.
She also took to Twitter and responded to a user who shared Kangana's video praising Vijay. "I call myself Babbar Sherni cause I never cry I never give anyone the privilege of making me cry, don’t remember when I cried last but today I cried and cried and cried and it feels so good #ThalaiviTrailer".
Thalaivi is a trilingual movie and has been shot simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and will be releasing on April 23. Produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shaailesh R Singh and Co-produced by Hitesh Thakkar and Thirumal Reddy under the banners of Vibri Media, Karma Media And Entertainment, Gothic Entertainment, and Spirit Films - the film also stars Aravind Swami, Prakash Raj, Jisshu Sengupta, and Bhagyashree, among others in key roles.
