Hyderabad, September 2 - Superstar Jr. NTR has very honest advice to Indian filmmakers who are under extreme pressure to deliver good films in the post-pandemic era. The superstar attended the pre-release event of the upcoming Pan India biggie Brahmastra Part One: Shiva in Hyderabad.
During the event, the "RRR" star gave a resounding speech that was a very honest reflection of what the Indian film industry is going through, especially the Bollywood industry, and what the industry needs to do going forward to make meaningful and entertaining cinema.
It is a fact that the teste of the audiences has changed in the post-pandemic times and the filmmakers are the constant pressure to make films considering the changing times. Jr. NTR, in his speech, said that "Pressure is a good thing. Let's accept the challenge and make good films".
"The film industries across the globe are under a lot of pressure now to deliver only content-rich films but nothing else. I feel we excel very well when we are put under pressure. Let's all come together and make great content-rich films for our audiences", he added.
"Brahmastra" is a fantasy adventure film written and directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Dharma Productions, Starlight Pictures, and Prime Focus in association with Star Studios. It stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni in prominent roles. The film is scheduled to release on September 9 in Hindi along with dubbed versions of Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
