Filmmaker Prakash Jha Says He Doesn't Want To Work With Bollywood A-Listers

Mumbai, September 7 - Award-winning Bollywood filmmaker Prakash Jha said that he doesn't want to work with Bollywood A-Listers neither they want to work with him. The Apaharan director is returning to the silver screen with his upcoming film "Matto Ki Saikil" and has been going places for the promotion of the film.
During a recent interview with India Today, Prakash Jha said that Bollywood A-Listers are not easily available to him because he doesn't want to finish a film in 30 days hence, he doesn't make a proposal like that.
"I don't work with A-list actors. I have stopped that. They don't want to work with me either. Actors like Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, and Ranbir Kapoor are not easily available to me because I don't make a proposal like that. I don't want to finish a film in 30 days' time because the actor wants to move on to another project", he said.
"I want to do my project the way I want. Many don't want to work on a difficult script. It is not to say that it might not happen someday, but it is difficult", he added.
The "Raajneeti" director also opened up on the boycott Bollywood culture and if there is any impact it has on the movies. He said that boycott culture is not new, it also happened earlier, and said that it has nothing to do with films getting failed at the box office. He said that Bollywood is not making exciting films, which is the main reason behind their failure.
