Mumbai, October 15 - There is blockbuster entertainment awaits Indian movie buffs this Diwali as some of the most-awaited films are coming to the big screen with full force. There is a huge curiosity among the audience for some of the films across different languages.
Diwali is traditionally a great time for the Indian film industry, and this year is no different. As far as Bollywood is concerned, the audience will see the top two stars clashing at the box office as Akshay Kumar's Ram Setu and Ajay Devgn's Thank God are releasing on October 25.
The Kollywood film industry has Sivakrathikeyan's Prince and Karthi's Sardar, set for October 21 clash while in Mollywood, there is Mohanlal's much-awaited Monster, also scheduled for October 21 release. Meanwhile, apart from the Indian titles, there is Dwayne Johnson's most-hyped superhero movie Black Adam, slated for October 20 release in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
As per the Book My Show, "Black Adam" is the most-awaited film in India this Diwali with 123.1K people showing big interest in the movie at the time of writing. The interest to watch this movie significantly increased after the rumors about the DCUE's most-awaited cameo. It is the most-awaited film in India and has far more interest than all other Indian films releasing this festive season.
Akshay Kumar's "Ram Setu" is the most-hyped Bollywood movie for Diwali 2022 with 21K on BMS, however, Ajay Devgn's "Thank God" is not far away with 20.6K interest. The anticipation for the latter increased significantly after the second trailer and this has made things hot for October 25 clash.
Sivakarthikeyan's "Prince" is leading other Tamil movies with 35K interest in BMS. The actor has been in top form with back-to-back blockbuster films post-pandemic. Meanwhile, Mohanlal Monster has upper hand over other Malayalam movies this Diwali with close to 10K interest.
