COVID-19: IFTDA appeals entertainment fraternity to be extra careful while working on set

The Indian Film & Television Directors' Association has issued a press release on Sunday, July 12 stating to the entertainment fraternity including directors, workers, producers, and others to be extra careful while working on sets due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The press release came after the megastar Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan and Anupam Kher's family including his mother, and brother tested positive for the COVID-19.
The statement read, "IFTDA is deeply concerned towards Shree Amitabh Bachchan, Shree Abhishek Bachchan, Shree Anupam Kher's family members having tested Corona positive.
We on behalf of Indian Film & Television Directors' Association pray to the almighty for their speedy recovery. May God bless them with strength and energy to overcome this crisis!
In the recent spurt of Coronavirus, we strongly appeal to our fraternity to be extra cautious and take full precautions while working on set, post-production studious.

Yesterday (July 11), Amitabh Bachchan was taken to Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai where he was tested for the COVID-19 and his results came positive. His family members and staff also undergone for the coronavirus test in which Abhishek came positive while the rest of his family tested negative.
A day after, Anupam Kher took to social media and confirmed that his mother, brother, bhabhi, and niece all have tested positive for COVID-19 while his test came negative. However, for safety precautions, he has self-isolated himself.
