Buzz: Akshay Kumar To Announce 'Rowdy Rathore 2' Or 'Hera Pheri 3' On His 55th Birthday?

Mumbai, August 26 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar will be celebrating his 55th birthday on September 9, 2022. It hasn't been a great year for Khiladi Kumar so far but he would love to enter the 55th year of his life with a blockbuster in the form of Cuttputli, which is scheduled to premiere on September 2 on Disney Plus Hotstar.

Though Akshay hasn't been able to create magic through his movies this year the future is looking brighter than ever with potential blockbusters in his hands. With Ram Setu, OMG 2, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Soorarai Pottru, Selfiee, and Gorkha already confirmed, the buzz regarding the sequels to his blockbuster films is making noise for the last few weeks.



It was recently reported that Akshay will unite with Arshad Warsi for the third installment of the hit franchise Jolly LLB and it will be announced soon. Jolly LLB 3 aside, the anticipation for two more films - Hera Pheri 3 and Rowdy Rathore 2 is sky high, and both films have been hinted to be in the development stage in the past.

Producer Firoz Nadiadwala had confirmed on a couple of occasions that he has a script ready for Hera Pheri 3 which will reunite the iconic trio of Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, and Paresh Rawal in the leading roles. The producer confirmed that the movie will be announced once the director is finalized. One more film that was hinted at is Rowdy Rathore 2. Renowned writer K. V. Vijayendra Prasad confirmed last year that he was writing the script for the sequel and would complete it soon.

The excitement of the fans peaked when Akshay Kumar was recently captured in his Rowdy Rathore look and the buzz is that the movie might be announced on his birthday in the next couple of weeks. Since Hera Pheri 3 has also been confirmed by the producer, it might also announce on Akshay's birthday.

We are waiting for trusted Bollywood insiders to confirm whether both or at least one of the aforementioned films will be announced or not. However, one thing is sure Akshay Kumar will be doing both Hera Pheri 3 and Rowdy Rathore 2, sooner or later. The Bollywood industry needs tried and tested mass commercial content and the said films could be the answer to its misry.
