Mumbai, September 23 - Brahmastra is heading towards a historic day at the box office as the early estimates suggest a double-digit third Friday. The collections are looking in the range of 11-12crs which is simply phenomenal as it is the third Friday of the film and recording double-digit collections is nothing that has never been seen before.

The main reason behind this historic third Friday collection is National Cinema day which is being celebrated today and for the same, the ticket rates are kept as cheap as 75Rs in all the national chains. The slashed ticket rates have done wonders for Brahmastra and it will do the same for the industry as well if the rates are reduced.



The historic third Friday collections will take the entire box office collections of Brahmastra to over 241cr net box office mark. The lifetime business of the film will comfortably cross the 250cr mark which was looking like a stiff task a few days back but thanks to the national cinema day celebration the film will now cross the 250cr mark by a good margin.

It will be very important for Brahmastra to show a good hold on Saturday and Sunday as the film has already consumed its weekend audience. In terms of admits today, Brahmastra has recorded one of its biggest days and when the final number will arrive in the morning, The film might challenge its highest single-day admits record.
