Brahmastra Overtakes Its Previous Highest Single Day Tickets Count For Third Friday (National Cinema Day)

Mumbai, September 21 - Director Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra Part One: Shiva is taking full advantage of India's first ever National Cinema Day which falls on September 23. The fantasy action adventure movie is reporting Housefull shows all over the country, thanks to the cheap ticket prices which are as low as Rs. 75 on NCD for all movies.

"Brahmastra", is particularly having a phenomenal response in the advance booking for its third Friday (15th day), and this resulted in, the movie having sold the highest number of tickets for a single day in its run so far. As of now, "Brahmastra" has sold 7.78 lakh tickets, and this number is most likely to touch a magnificent 1 million.

The ticket count for "Brahmastra" on its third Friday is the highest of all time for any film on the third Friday. The gross collection of the movie, however, is 6.78 crores so far for National Cinema Day but the makers would be happy to see massive footfalls in cinemas.

Taking the advance ticket count of "Brahmastra" for all days, it has sold over 4 million tickets in advance booking only. As for the box office records, the movie has grossed over 360 crores worldwide so far and is likely to finish around 450 crores in its lifetime run.
