Box Office: Drishyam 2 Second Thursday and Bhediya First Thursday Early Estimates

Mumbai, December 1 - Drishayam 2 has emerged as a huge box office winner and the film is showing no sign of stopping as the early estimate collections suggest approx. 4.30 crores net on the second Thursday which is just around 5% less than yesterday. It is an extraordinary hold as the film has already collected more than 160cr at the box office despite that the drops are so less.

The second Thursday box office collections of Drishyam2 will take its entire collection to around the 163.50cr mark depending on the actual second Thursday collections. The second-week collections have also crossed the 60cr mark and very few films from the Hindi film industry have crossed that number in the second week. The film has emerged as a blockbuster and it is the 5th blockbuster in the hugely sustaining career of Ajay Devgn. There are only 6-7 stars in the history of Hindi cinema who crossed at least 25 hits and 5 blockbusters and Ajay Devgn is one of them.



Bhediya on the other hand continues with a downward trajectory but holding really well as the early estimates are approx. 3 crores net which will mean a drop of around 10%. The first Thursday collections of Bhediya will take the entire box office collections of the film to just a little over the 42cr mark.

The film will find it very hard to collect big numbers from here on as the first week has underperformed. The hope is that the film crosses at least the 60cr net box office mark which is possible as there is not much competition coming except The Action Hero so the film can enjoy a good little healthy run at the box office.
