Box Office: 'Brahmastra Part One: Shiva' Crosses 150 Crores Net; Becomes 40th Bollywood Movie To Do So

Mumbai, September 13 - Director Ayan Mukerji's fantasy action adventure film Brahmastra Part One: Shiva has crossed 150 crores net for all languages, becoming the 40th Bollywood film of all time to do so.
After a record-breaking opening weekend, the Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt-starrer is witnessing a good hold over the crucial weekdays. It scored an estimated 13 crores net on its first Tuesday, which takes its total collection to approx. 154 crores net after 5 days. At the worldwide box office, the movie has crossed 250 crores gross, including Tuesday's total.
The Hindi version of the movie has been the best performing with an estimated 138.3 crores net in five days, followed by the Telugu version with 12 crores approx. Reportedly, the movie has become the highest-grossing Bollywood movie of all time in the dubbed South languages.
"Brahmastra" is currently the 40th highest-grossing straight Hindi movie, and overall, it is the 44th biggest Hindi grosser of all time at the domestic box office. The movie is likely to finish the opening weekend at approx. 170 crores net, which will make it the 36th biggest Hindi film.
Produced by Dharma Productions, Starlight Pictures, and Prime Focus in association with Star Studios, the movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy in prominent roles along with Nagarjuna Akkineni and Shah Rukh Khan.
