Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar Meets Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Mumbai

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, on Tuesday (December 1), met with the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Mumbai to discuss the various projects. Yogi Adityanath is on his two-day visit to Mumbai to meet some of the top film producers and actors to discuss the upcoming film-city to be built near Yamuna Expressway in Gautam Budh Nagar, U.P.

While the meeting with producers is yet to happen, Adityanath met Akshay Kumar at Hotel Oberoi and discussed his plans at length. The official handle of the CM tweeted, "Today in Mumbai, I met the popular actor of the Indian film industry, Sh.@akshaykumar. We had meaningful discussions about various aspects of the film world. His understanding, dedication, and constructivism towards his work is inspiring for the youth".

According to a report by ABP News, CM Yogi has called another meeting separately on Wednesday, in which he will brainstorm on Film City with producer and directors like Subhash Ghai, Ramesh Sippy, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Madhur Bhandarkar, Siddharth Roy Kapoor, and T Series chief Bhushan Kumar.

Earlier, a meeting between Bollywood celebrities and Yogi Adityanath was held in Lucknow on 22 September on the proposed film-city which will be built on 1000 acres in Noida. Under the Film City Rules made in 2018, the state government will provide land at an industrial rate. Studios will be built on 800 acres. The remaining 200 acres of land has been earmarked for commercial activity.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, Akshay Kumar is busy shooting for his upcoming film Atrangi Re with Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan. He will also be seen in Bellbottom, Prithviraj, Raksha Bandhan, Sooryavanshi, Bachchan Pandey, and recently announced Ram Setu.
