Ayushmann Khurrana To Join Producer Dinesh Vijan's Horror-Comedy Universe?

Mumbai, August 14 - Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana is in the line to join producer Dinesh Vijan's horror comedy universe. The actor has done path-breaking films in his respected career so far but he hasn't explored the horror-comedy genre.

According to peepingmoon.com, Ayushmann will be doing Vijan's next horror-comedy and will reunite the actor with his "Bala" director Amar Kaushik for the same. It is said that Ayushmann and Kaushik have been looking to collaborate for their next project and they have finally cracked the idea.



The reports say that the film expands Vijan's proposed horror-comedy cinematic universe. The actor reportedly has given his nod and will sign the dotted lines after the final narration. The movie is likely to go on floors next year.

Dinesh Vijan has been developing his own cinematic universe in horror-comedy and Ayushmann's film will be the 4th installment in the universe. Previosuly, Vijan's Maddock Films produced Shraddha Kapoor's "Stree", and Janhvi Kapoor's "Roohi". The third film in the series, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani's "Bhediya" is scheduled to release in November this year.

Meanwhile, Ayushmann is reportedly joining hands with Dinesh Vijan for a romantic-comedy film. The actor will reportedly be sharing screen space with Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the film that is likely to go on floors in the second half of 2023. Ayushmann also teams up with Raaj Shaandilyaa for "Dream Girl 2". He also has "Doctor G" and "Action Hero" in the pipeline.
