Late Irrfan Khan's last film Angrezi Medium which theatrical release was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown in the country, is all set to become one of the first movies to be released in Dubai as the cinemas are reopening there on Wednesday, May 27 after the two months of break.
However, the film will not get to release with full capacity as the cinemas have to follow some strict guidelines issued by the government. Considering the health of people, cinemas are allowed to run only at 30% capacity while the elderly people above 60 and children bellow 12 will not be allowed inside the theatres.
Talking about the Angrezi Medium
, the film was released on March 13 in India but soon found itself in deep trouble after most of the states of India decided to close the cinema hauls due to coronavirus threat. The movie, however, was released on the digital platform Hotstar and it was well appreciated by the cinema lovers.
The re-release of the film will certainly bring the cheers on people's faces who have been waiting to witness the magic of Irrfan Khan who passed away last month fighting with cancer on the big screen for the very last time. Despite being two months old, we can expect that people will still walk into the theatre to watch the film.
