Akshay Kumar's Rumoured Exit From 'Hera Pheri 3' Upsets Fans

Mumbai, November 11 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is one of the actors who popularized comedy with films like "Hera Pheri" and "Welcome". "Hera Pheri" particularly holds a special mention in Bollywood history.

In the first two "Hera Pheri", Akshay played the role of Raju who went on to become an iconic cult character along with Sunil Shetty's Shyam and Paresh Rawal's Babu Bhaiya. The obsession with these characters has been such that the demand for "Hera Pheri 3" over the last few years has been getting bigger.



To the delight of the fans, producer Firoz Nadiadwala confirmed last year that "Hera Pheri 3" is in development with the trio of Akshay, Sunil, and Paresh would be returning to take the franchise forward. Recently, it was reported that Akshay was keen to revive the sequel and was in discussion with the producer regarding the same.

However, all the efforts seem to be gaining nothing as Khiladi Kumar has reportedly pulled out from the film. It is said that the budding superstar Kartik Aaryan is on board to play the role of Raju and the film will go on floors in 2023.

The rumored exit of Akshay Kumar from "Hera Pheri 3" has upset his fans who are not happy with him for failing to revive the film with him only. Fans believe that despite being very talented, Kartik Aaryan can not create the magic Akshay Kumar did with Raju's role.



Fans took to social media to express their disappointment over the news of Akshay's exit from "Hera Pheri 3", calling it heartbreaking and the end of the era.
