Mumbai, July 5 - It was recently reported that Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar would be doing a film based on the Indian Air Force. Dinesh Vijan will reportedly be producing this film under his production banner Maddock Films.
The official announcement regarding the movie is yet to be made but the movie is certainly confirmed which was also hinted at by Akshay himself during a recent interview. Now, according to the latest reports, the movie, which is tentatively titled "SkyForce", will be directed by Sandeep Kewlani.
The movie will mark Sandeep Kewlani's directorial debut and he couldn't have asked for a better film and actor to begin with. He was the writer of Ajay Devgn's aviation-based "Runway 34" and also assist Ajay in the direction department. By looking at his past experience, Kewlani seems to be the right man for Akshay's film.
The film will see Akshay Kumar as an Indian Airforce Officer and it's set in the period set up recreating one of the aerial warfare from the time gone by. The preproduction of the film is expected to start in September this year as the makers are all geared up to take the film on floors in early 2023. It will most likely to release in 2024.
