Akshay Kumar Teams Up With Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush for Atrangi Re

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar joins Anand L Rai's next movie Atrangi Re along with Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush. The filming will start on 1st March 2020 and release on Valentine Day 2021.

With Bombay Times, Akshay said, "I am thrilled to be working with Aanand L Rai, as I have always admired the way he has showcased his stories. When he narrated the film to me, I said yes within 10 minutes. It is a challenging character to play, but at the same time, it is such a special role that my heart just couldn't say no to it. I will remember it for the rest of my life."



He added, "My combination with Sara and Dhanush truly makes it true to its title Atrangi. I know that Aanand, in his special and simple way of storytelling, will only add magic to it. As I said, my heart just couldn’t let this one go."

The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Aanand L Rai. It is AR Rahman Musical film and written by Himanshu Sharma.

At this moment, Akshay Kumar is enjoying his best phase of life. Last year, he had four successful films with 150 Cr India net each.

Sara Ali Khan's next movie Love Aaj Kal will release on 14th Feb 2020 with Kartik Aryan.

This film is Dhanush’s first Hindi film after 2015 Shamitabh wherein he featured alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Akshara Haasan.
