Akshay Kumar Should be Appreciated For Doing Such a Strong Film: Laxmi Narayan Tripathi

The Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani starrer horror-comedy, Laxmii premiered on November 9 on Disney+Hotstar. Recently, the makers held a special premiere in Delhi for the transgender community upon the film based.
While the film is getting a mixed response from the viewers, Transgender rights activist Laxmi Narayan Tripathi who was touched by the transgender representation in the film, said that Akshay Kumar should be applauded for doing such a strong film-like Laxmii.
"Any transgender is equal to any man or woman, which comes out from the film in a very strong way. I believe it is wonderful, and instead of criticism, we should appreciate Akshay Ji for being such a strong man and doing such a strong film", she said.

Upset by the negativity surrounding the film, she added, "Some publications are opposing it, and putting up articles against it. How much do they know about reality? I am really shocked. What do you mean by that? There are many films I also acted in, nobody bought it, it's a business. Without seeing a film, on the eve of its release, these articles are being written".
According to Laxmi Narayan Tripathi, the best thing about the film is that Akshay Kumar in it and playing a strong character of a transgender.
Directed by Raghava Lawrence, Laxmi (earlier titled Laxmmi Bomb) is the remake of his own Tamil hit Kanchana. The story of this horror-comedy revolves around an unsuspecting man whose body gets taken over by a spirit.
Produced by Akshay Kumar's Cape of Good Films, Fox Star Studios, and Tusshar Kapoor, Laxmi also features Ashwini Kalsekar, Sharad Kelkar, Manu Rishi, and Ayesha Raza.
