Aamir Khan vs Akshay Kumar: A Track Of Their Previous Clashes Against Each Other

Mumbai, 4 Aug 2022: As we all are aware two of the biggest stars of Indian cinema Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar are all set to clash on 11 August with their movies Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan but this won't be the first time these two have gone against one and other.

The first clash between the two took place in 1994 when Suhaag of Akshay Kumar clashed with Aamir Khan's multi-starrer Andaaz Apna Apna. Suhaag emerged as the winner in this clash however Andaaz Apna Apna received a cult status post its television premiere.



The second time these two squared off against each other was immediately a year after their first clash. This time Akshay Kumar starrer Maidaan- E-Jung clashed with Aamir Khan's Baazi. This time both movies tanked at the box office but comparatively, Baazi did better business than Maidaan-E-Jung.

The third and the biggest clash between Aamir and Akshay Kumar occurred in 2007 when Tare Zameen par and Welcome came on the same day. Both the movies emerged victorious at the box office this time.

Generally, in box office clashes history tells us that better movies always prevail irrespective of their star power, Many big stars have lost clashes at some point in their careers.



The last clash between Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar is a great example where both movies didn't affect each other's business and were profitable. Trade experts and the industry stakeholders too are expecting the same verdict to happen as these two get set to collide for the 4rth time.

Both Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan fall under the category of emotional drama, which in most cases automatically connected with the family audiences. Plus the independence day weekend will give the audience sufficient time to make a better choice.
