Mumbai, August 5 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, who is gearing up for the release of Laal Singh Chaddha, recently graced Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan show with Kareena Kapoor. The duo had blast on the show and made several revelations about their movies.
During the famous rapid-fire round in the show, filmmaker Karan Johar asked Aamir, which of these films would he like to redo or fix. He then gave the options - Mela, Mangal Panday, and Thugs Of Hindostan.
To which, Aamir replied, "Mela and Thugs Of Hindostan. Perhaps we did not achieve what we set out to. I would like to correct those two".
It is to be noted that Mela, which was released in 2000, tanked at the box office. It also stars Twinkle Khanna and Aamir's brother Faisal Khan. On the other hand, Thugs Of Hindostan released in 2018, was a period adventure film also starring Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, and Fatima Sana Sheikh.
TOH was a big-budget film but just like Mela, it also failed at the box office. The film received criticism from critics, which is very rare for Aamir Khan's film.
