Mumbai, January 25 - Akshay Kumar who is one of the Biggest Stars of the Indian film industry has completed 31 years in the Bollywood industry today. The first film of Akshay Kumar 'Saugandh' was released on 25th January 1991.

The first hit film of Akshay Kumar was Khiladi in 1992. After that, he had an impressive run from 1994 to 1996 with a series of hit and super hit films. The trajectory of Akshay Kumar has always gone high with each passing decade. The last decade (2010-2019) proved to be the best decade for Akshay Kumar in terms of Box office as he delivered 15 hits in this decade. No doubt the level of success of those hits was not humongous but he has compensated that with extra half-dozen hits.



Akshay Kumar probably has the most number of hits among his generation of stars with 33 hit films and except Salman Khan, no other star from the 90s generation has delivered 30 or more than 30 hit films. Akshay Kumar also made his debut in Highest Grosser star of the year after Sooryavanshi became the Highest Grosser of the Bollywood industry in 2021.

With more than 55 successful films, 33 hit films, Akshay Kumar is definitely on the list of most successful stars of all time and looking at his lineup, one can expect a huge surge in hits and successes. The peak phase of Akshay Kumar was the late 2000s when films like Welcome, Bhool Bhulaiya, Heyy Baby and Singh is King took Bumper initials.
