The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a computer based test for admission in a graduate management program.

The test scores a candidate on the bases of Quantitative Ability (QA), Verbal Ability (VA) and Reading Comprehension (RC), Data Interpretation (DI) and Logical Reasoning (LR).



The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) started this exam and use the test for selecting students for their business administration programs.

The test is conducted every year by one of the IIMs based on a policy of rotation.

Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) will declare the result of CAT 2019 next month. After declaration, all the appeared candidates can check their result on the website mentioned below:

CAT 2019 is a pre-requisite for admission to various Post Graduate and Fellow programmes of IIMs.



CAT 2019 scores are allowed to be used by listed non-IIM member institutions.

A list of such institutions is provided on the CAT website.
