YRF Confirms 'War 2' Release Date Amid Postponement Rumours

Mumbai, March 15 - Yash Raj Films has officially confirmed the release date of the highly-anticipated spy action thriller War 2 amid the rumours of its postponement. There were rumours that it might get postponed but the studio has put them to rest once and for all. ## Starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR, War 2 will hit the big screens on August 14, 2025, in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil languages. Interestingly, this is the first time YRF has announced the War 2 release date on its social media platforms. Earlier, the studio confirmed the same through media and trade. ## The film is directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra. The shoot of the movie has already been completed except for a song which has reportedly been delayed due to the leg injury of Hrithik Roshan. Mumbai, March 13 - Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor has teased the announcement of Brahmastra Part Two — Dev soon. It is the sequel to Brahmastra Part 1 - Shiva and is the second instalment of a planned trilogy, which is itself planned to be part of a cinematic universe titled Āstraverse. ## Director Ayan Mukerji confirmed the second part was supposed to start immediately after the first film which was released in 2022. It is the fourth-fastest movie ever after Stree 2 (22 days), Jawan (18 days) and Pushpa 2 (11 days) to reach the milestone in Hindi.## Chhaava was released in the Telugu version on March 7, 3 weeks after the original release and in the first 2 days, the movie scored fantastic approximately 5.50+ crores net collection. Salman Khan's 'Sikandar' Non-Theatrical Rights Locked

Mumbai, March 6 - Superstar Salman Khan's action drama Sikandar is one of the most-anticipated Bollywood movies. It is the first movie for the actor since YRF's Tiger 3 in November 2023, and there is genuine anticipation for the film which is directed by A. R. Mumbai, March 2 - Bollywood actor star Tiger Shroff will next be seen in producer Sajid Nadiadwala's action thriller Baaghi 4. The film is being directed by Kannada director A. Harsha and the shoot for the same is progressing at a brisk pace. ## On the occasion of Tiger's birthday on March 2, the makers unveiled a new intense film poster featuring the actor with an intriguing tagline - "This time he is not the same". The poster shows Tiger's half-blood-soaked face while smoking a cigarette. ## Each poster of the film released so far indicates a more darker and intense tone of the film which is the 4th instalment of the blockbuster franchise. Tiger shared the poster on his Instagram handle and expressed his gratitude towards the franchise for giving him the identity of an action hero. ## "The franchise that gave me an identity and allowed me to express my eagerness to prove myself as an action hero... is now the franchise that is changing my identity. Maddock Films' 'Chhaava' Reigns Supreme In The Homeland

Mumbai, March 1 - The Bollywood film industry has delivered some of the biggest Indian blockbusters of all time over the last few years but it was Pushpa 2 - The Rule, a Telugu-origin Pan India tentpole, which came as a tsunami to sweep the homeland of Hindi film industry, Maharashtra. ## The Allu Arjun-fronted action drama not only emerged as the biggest grosser ever in Maharashtra but also went on to become the all-time Hindi grosser, beating the original Hindi titles. Box Office: 'Chhaava' Beats 'Pushpa 2' On The Third Friday

Mumbai, March 1 - The blockbuster historical action drama Chhaava has beaten the mighty Pushpa 2 - The Rule on its third Friday at the Hindi box office. The Vicky Kaushal-fronted has also topped 400 crores net collection, becoming the 9th Hindi film ever to do so. ## The Allu Arjun-fronted action drama Pushpa 2 scored 11.30 crores net collection in December last year which was the biggest third Friday in Hindi before Chhaava outnumbered it with an estimated total of around 13 crores net which is now the biggest 3rd Friday box office collection in Hindi. ## Pushpa 2 went on to score around 58 crores net in the third weekend in Hindi. It needs to be seen how Chaava fairs on Saturday and Sunday but it is certain to come close and might beat Pushpa 2 to emerge the biggest third weekend grosser. ## The total collection of Chhaava is around 412 crores net through the third Friday (15 days), on the other hand, Pushpa 2 was miles ahead with 621 crores net in the same number of days. Mumbai, February 28 - The teaser of superstar Salman Khan-fronted action drama Sikandar has taken the internet by storm with huge viewership across social media platforms. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, the teaser was launched on February 27 ahead of the film's Eid release.## According to the makers, the teaser of Sikandar has generated 65+ million views across social media platforms in the first 24 hours. Mumbai, February 28 - Vicky Kaushal-fronted Chhaava has had an excellent second week at the box office, scoring approximately 180 crores net collection. The movie witnessed a drop of just around 17% which is remarkable, to say the least. ## The historical action drama wasn't too far behind the all-time biggest second-week grosser, Allu Arjun-led Pushpa 2 - The Rule which minted 196.50 crores net in Hindi in December last year. Mumbai, February 27 - It's been more than a year since Farhan Akhtar announced Don 3 with Ranveer Singh in the lead role, replacing superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The movie, however, has faced challenges which led to rumours of its getting shelved. ## Ranveer Singh hasn't been in the best of form at the box office and there is negativity around his casting for the role of Don which delays the production.
