Mumbai, December 5 - Google India's Year in Search 2025 revealed an exciting mix of films that dominated online curiosity throughout the year. The list includes films of different languages with a couple of surprising entries.

At the top of the list is Yash Raj Films' Saiyaara, which generated massive buzz thanks to its strong box office performance. Starring Ahaan Pandey and Aneet Padda in their film debuts, the romantic drama was the talk of the town when it was released in July and eventually topped Google 2025 search in the movie category.

Following closely is Rishab Shetty's Kannada actioner Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1, proving the franchise's deep cultural impact. It was a big blockbuster at the box office. Meanwhile, superstar Rajinikanth's Coolie secured the third spot, driven by high anticipation and strong fan engagement, especially in the South.
